ART for 16 – 25 yrs old FREE

I am excited to announce a new on going art program in the studio at Tempo Young Adult Resource Center. The program is the Studio Series. This program is a weekly targeted art project involving new media. We will all be working on the same project with the same new media. This program begins on April 3rd from 10:30-2:30 open to 16-25 year olds.

  • 4/3 Week one we are working with the iPad, iPad Pencil and the Procreate application to create a virtual coloring book page to paint. Limit 6 iPads
  • 4/10 Week two we will be investigating Inktense pencils, watercolor pans and blocks to create a permanent acrylic ink painting on Aqua board.
  • 4/17 Week three is Molotow, Montana and Uni Posca paint makers, painting on illustration board or artist’s panel to create a lowbrow painting.
  • 4/24 Week 4 Scratchboard/Scraperboard. Scratchboard is the art of scraping away a black ink/ceramic coating over a white gesso surface. Resulting in creating a drawing in white on a black plane.

Please join us in the studio!!
