Parents, is your child struggling to acquire reading skills, taking extra time to formulate his spoken and written ideas, have messy handwriting and poor spelling obstacles to success, or feeling frustrated with all aspects of school–even the social side?

Decoding Dyslexia, a grassroots movement driven by parents, educators, and professionals, will hold a free workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Saint James Parish Hall, 89 Main Street, South Grafton.

The guest speaker is Dr. Eileen Antalek, associate director of Educational Directions, Inc. She is  an expert with over 20 years of experience working with students who learn differently whom has presented at local, regional and national conferences on the importance of appropriate evaluations in determining successful plans for students.
